Current Time - Live Digital Clock with Seconds

A free online clock that shows the exact current time down to the second, updating in real time. Your device's time zone is detected automatically, and you can switch it manually. No sign-up required, and your location or time-zone data is never sent to a server.

Current time

Check the current time live with a digital clock that shows seconds

This page shows the current time — what time it is right now — down to the seconds, updating live every second. Use it as an accurate online clock for setting your watch, syncing the start of an online meeting, or counting down the final seconds of an auction or a trade. There's nothing to install; it works in any browser, on desktop and mobile.

How to auto-detect or manually change your time zone (region, then city)

The time zone is detected automatically from your browser. If the detection is wrong, or you want to see the current time in another city, switch it manually in two steps: pick a Region, then pick a Time zone (for example Asia/Tokyo or America/New_York). Your choice is saved in this browser and reused next time. Choose 'Auto' to go back to automatic detection. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is handled automatically.

Your location and time-zone data are never sent to a server (runs in your browser)

Time-zone detection and time calculation happen entirely inside your browser (client-side). Your location and time-zone information are never sent to sakutto's servers. Unlike ad-heavy clock sites, this page keeps the screen clean so you can keep it open or bookmark it with peace of mind.

Use cases for world clock, time-zone conversion and other time tools

Beyond checking the current time, time tools help with comparing time differences with overseas clients or family (world clock), scheduling remote meetings, and converting between time zones. sakutto plans to add a multi-city world clock and a time-zone converter next. Handy date and text utilities such as era conversion and a character counter are available too.

FAQ about the live clock and time-zone display

How accurate is the current time shown here?
The current time is based on your device's clock and updates every second in real time. As long as your device clock is synced (for example via NTP), it will be very close to the exact time. If you need millisecond-level precision, also check an official time source such as your country's standard-time service.
The time zone isn't detected correctly. Can I set it manually?
Yes. Use the two dropdowns below the clock — pick a Region, then a Time zone (city). VPNs or browser settings can throw off auto-detection, but choosing the right zone manually fixes the displayed time. Your choice is saved, and 'Auto' restores automatic detection.
Can I see the current time in other cities (world clock)?
Yes. Choose a region such as America or Europe, then a city such as New York or London, and the current time there is shown to the second. Daylight Saving Time is handled automatically, so it works for checking time differences too.
Do I need to sign up? Is it free?
It's completely free with no sign-up. No account or email is required — the live seconds clock and time-zone display work the moment you open the page.
